Delhi AQI improves gradually

After AQI became severe over the last few days, it is gradually improving. However, still remains in the poor category in various areas and poor in some areas on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, an AQI of 286 was recorded at ITO, 269 at Mandir Marg, 297 at Patparganj, 292 at North Campus and 278 at Pusa, West Delhi.

Still among the areas with 'Very Poor' AQIs are Sonia Vihar 352, Nehru Nagar 318, and RK Puram 304 among other areas. As gathered, Winds gusting up to 30 kmph were recorded in parts of Delhi on Tuesday night aiding in the improvement of the situation.

Meanwhile, Primary schools in Delhi reopen on November 9, 2022. The ban on school outdoor activities has also been lifted, said Gopal Rai, Environment Minister of Delhi in a press conference. He informed me that the pollution level in Delhi is falling. He said that the curbs imposed by the government are being lifted in accordance with the GRAP.
