Delhi's air quality turns 'hazardous'

Delhi: The air quality in Delhi turned 'hazardous' on Friday, November 11, 2022 morning as the current AQI of Delhi stands at 447. This comes after Delhi saw slight improvement in the air quality in the last couple of days. According to AQI.in, the average concentration in Delhi of the major pollutant PM2.5 is 292, which is 19.5 times of the WHO recommended threshold concentration of 15.

In the areas of NCR as well, the air quality remains very poor. In Noida, the average AQI on Friday morning stands at 303 which is considered 'very poor'. In Gurugram, the average AQI today stands at 337, again in the 'very poor' category.

It is to be noted that an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 is 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 is 'moderate', 201 and 300 is 'poor', 301 and 400 is 'very poor', and 401 and 500 is 'severe'.
