Four unidentified assailants attacked a resident of Shipra Krishna Vista; the victim was surrounded by the miscreants while he was talking over the phone in his parked car.

Four unidentified assailants attacked a man and fled with his car and valuables on the midnight of December 12 in Indirapuram.

The victim, Rajneesh, 28, is a resident of Shipra Krishna Vista, which is located just a few hundred metres from the spot. He works in a private company in Noida.

The attackers fled with the victim's white Hyundai  i10 with number plate UP 14 CV  5661. They also took his gold ring, gold chain and phone after pushing him out of the moving car near Windsor Street Market in Vaibhav Khand.

According to the police, the victim had just returned from a party, and was sitting inside his car at the time of the incident. He was talking over the phone when the miscreants forcefully entered the car.

After snatching his valuables, they made off with the car, pushing him out of the moving vehicle. They also threatened to kill him.

"He was thrown out of the moving car after being driven for about 50 metres or so," confirmed BR Zaidi, SHO, Indirapuram. He added, "The assailants can be part of a bigger gang, and we are trying to trace his phone."

The victim immediately called the police from a security guard's phone.

Meanwhile, an FIR under Section 392 of IPC (punishment for robbery) has been registered against unidentified persons at Indirapuram police station.
