With a lot happening in the past few months, including military service announcements, this can surely brighten up fans' moods. BTS has received nominations for Grammys in 2023 namely Best Music Video, Album of the year and Best Pop Duo/Group performance. This is their fifth nomination overall, and fans are ecstatic. BTS received their first nomination for Dynamite in 2020.
With their three nominations, BTS has received five Grammy nominations, marking the first time they compete in several categories. A significant step forward for the South Korean group is the nomination of 'Yet to Come', a Korean song in the Best Music Video category, primarily dominated by English songs. The 2023 Grammy Awards will air live on February 5, 2023, local time.
The song 'My Universe' with the band Coldplay is up for Best Pop Duo whereas 'Yet To Come (My most beautiful moment) is nominated for Best Music Video. It is their first-ever Korean song to welcome a nod at the event. Moreover, 'Music of the Spheres' is nominated for Best Album and has composition credits from RM, J-Hope, and Suga. This is the first time the band has garnered several Grammy nominations, making history for K-Pop. They have received a Grammy nomination for the third year running. However, the band has never won any granny past two years.
