Delhi: The national capital's residents woke up to the season's coldest morning on November 18, 2022 (today) as Delhi recorded its lowest temperature of the season at 9.6 degrees Celsius, according to Skymet Weather Vice President Mahesh Palawat. Palawat in a tweet informed that a temperature of 9.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Safdargunj this morning. According to weather experts, the Delhi-NCR region would continue to experience cool breezes in the coming days.

The national capital's majority of areas experienced light morning fog, and the MeT office has predicted that the national capital's temperature may drop by 10 degrees Celsius in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Delhi's air quality on November 18, 2022, remained in the "poor category". The city's overall Air Quality Index (AQI), as reported by the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), was 293 today morning.

On November 17, 2022, Delhi saw minimum temperatures of 11.3 degrees Celsius and high temperatures of 27.5 degrees, both somewhat below average. The western disturbance (WD), which allowed colder winds to start blowing once more in the region of Delhi-NCR is the reason behind the chilly weather office for this reduction in temperatures, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
