The Delhi Jal Board in a notice released on December 10, 2022, has informed that water will be available at low pressure on 2 days, December 12, 2022, and December 19, 2022, in certain areas. The reason given for this is the renovation of the 700 mm dia Sluice Valve at Sonia Vihar BPS.
The affected areas will be Yamuna Vihar, Tahirpur, Nand Nagari, Maujpur, Brijpuri, Jagjeet Nagar, Jaiprakash Nagar, Gamri village, Gamri Extension, Bhajan Pura, Harsh Vihar, Mandoli, Dilshad Garden, Dilshad Colony, Old Seemapuri, New Seema Puri, Sunder Nagri, Tahirpur, Sonia Vihar, Karwal Nagar, Mustfabad and adjoining area.

DJB has further advised residents to store a sufficient quantity of water in advance. Moreover, they say that a water tanker will be available on request.
