New Delhi: A painting competition was organized by the NDMC for the students of NDMC and Navyug School inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s book “Exam Warriors” at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi.

On this occasion, Vice Chairman, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), Satish Upadhyay; Member of Parliament, Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi; Chairman NDMC, Amit Yadav; Member, Smt. Vishakha Sailani alongwith Director (PR), Director (Education) and teachers of the NDMC schools were also present.

Upadhyay said this type of meaningful painting competition helps children to use their imagination. Painting not only provides an educational opportunity to children which is fun and exciting but also exposes their talents.

Speaking about the Prime Minister’s book “Exam Warriors”, Upadhyay said that “Exam Warriors” has become a useful manual for students of all ages to handle exam-related stress in a fun, interactive and educational way which was launched in 2018. This book provides invaluable mantras for students, parents and even teachers which help manage exam-related stress and impart important life lessons. Each mantra in the book Exam Warriors is accompanied by an amazing illustration created by Team Exam Warriors.

He further said, “I hope, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's book “Exam Warriors” will prove to be helpful in removing the stress of the examinations for the students.” Explaining the book “Exam Warriors”, he added that it contains mantras in the book. Each mantra is illustrated using appropriate characters with an illustration that captures the essence of the mantra.

Upadhyay said that this initiative of Prime Minister “Pariksha Pe Charcha” and the book “Exam Warriors” is a commendable step. Exams and results are full of stress and sometimes frustration for both students and parents which many students take negative steps like suicide.

He said that it is very important to deal with this phase and come out because it is not only to get good marks in the examination but it is also necessary to bear the challenges of life positively from time to time. He motivates the students and parents to face the challenge of examination like a warrior.

Appreciating this initiative of the Education Department of New Delhi Municipal Council, Upadhyay extended his best wishes to all the students for passing the examination and for more excellent achievements in the future. He said, “I hope that the future of all of the students will be filled with many big achievements.”
