Greater Noida: Falling in love with K dramas and their lead actors might be easy, however, what really keeps us hooked to these shows is the scrumptious Korean food. There's no denying that we all want to at least know what authentic Korean food tastes like. Well, it is now possible as Kifu Restaurant in Greater Noida is serving exactly what we all are looking for- authentic, warm, flavourful Korean food.

As Greater Noida houses a big community of South Koreans, it was about time that a place open up to serve real Korean food to them and to us as well and so opened Kifu. Run by two Korean friends, Song Jin Heo and Sunjic Kim the story of Kifu dates back to 10 years ago, when the two friends decided to open up a restaurant.

Song Jin Heo and Sunjic Kim, the owners of Kifu

Song Jin Heo and Sunjic Kim, the owners of this diner are both from Seoul, South Korea. Both of them are amiable and very hospitable. Satendra is the manager of the place. He will make sure that you don't go through any inconvenience while dining at Kifu.

Just as you enter the restaurant, you'll know that it is not just another diner to hang out at. Here, you'll not just get authentic food, but also authentic Korean experience. With the wooden decor, separate rooms for dining and a tv that plays Korean TV channels 24/7, you'll actually feel like you're sitting somewhere in South Korea. The menu of this restaurant adheres to the yin-yang theory of Korean cooking and incorporates standard components such as vegetables, chicken, rice, and pork in almost of its dishes. Adding to the authenticity of food, the chef here, Jaewook Kim, is also South Korean. Jaewook Kim has an experience of beyond 40 years in Korean traditional cooking. Previously, he has worked in the USA in a Korean restaurant and currently, he's in India, making people fall in love with his cooking.

With the increasing everyday obsession with Korean culture amongst people of India, Kifu restaurant should definitely be on your list. In the evening, several Koreans also come here for their supper, which is a testament to their popularity and authenticity.

The food served here is similar to what is served in Korean cafes and includes everything from bibimbap to fried chicken. You can enjoy their stews, kimchi jeon, japchae, Korean barbeque (Samgyeotsal) and Pork Fried Mandu. Korean food is renowned for its harmony, and at Kifu, each bite provides the ideal balance of flavours, colours, and textures. The Korean delicacies such as jajangmyeon, jamppong, crispy fried chicken,  kimbap, ramyun, tteokboki and a lot more are their specialty. Other than their main Korean menu, they also serve Indian food, and we are told that many Koreans like to have Indian food there.
