Fresh spell of cold wave to hit Delhi & NCR from tomorrow

New Delhi: Meteorological Department has forecast that Delhi and national capital region (NCR) is likely to witness a fresh spell of cold wave from tomorrow (Tuesday, 3rd of January). Dense fog and cold wave conditions will continue to prevail in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in the coming days.

According to IMD, cold wave condition will continue to sweep Rajasthan also. For Delhi, it has predicted further drop in temperature and a fresh spell of cold wave on 3rd of January.

Very dense fog was witnessed in Northern parts of the country yesterday particularly in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh which led to the disruptions of train and flight service.

National Capital today witnessed shallow fog in the morning and clear sky thereafter. The maximum temperature was recorded 21.1 degree Celsius which is one degree above normal while the minimum settled at 5.5 degree Celsius two notches below normal. 

It was clear sky with moderate to dense fog in the morning hours today. Maximum and minimum temperatures in Delhi would be hovering around 20 and 6 degree Celsius throughout the day.
