New Delhi: The Delhi Government is making special preparations to make people aware of its welfare schemes. To achieve this goal the Social Welfare Department will launch its magazine soon.

Social Welfare Minister Raaj Kumar Anand has directed the department to publish a magazine to make more and more people aware of the schemes related to public welfare. Through this magazine, information about the schemes can be easily conveyed to the public. So that maximum number of people can be benefitted.

“This magazine will be released soon, in which detailed information about the facilities related to public welfare and the benefits of those schemes will be available. Apart from the new facilities provided by the department, there will be information about the benefits people are getting in Delhi,” he said.

Anand further said that an awareness campaign will be launched through magazines and other mediums so that all the information about the public welfare schemes run by the Delhi government is available to the people of Delhi and a maximum number of people get benefited from it and our government is committed to provide better facilities to all Delhiites.

It may be recalled that Anand held a meeting with all the senior officers of the department at the Secretariat on Thursday. During this, the cabinet minister instructed the departmental officers to start the awareness campaign as soon as possible. After which the officials told that all the preparations related to starting the magazine have been done and along with this they also said that the first magazine will be published soon.

For this, the department has also started the formation of an editorial board. The members of the editorial board will soon hold a meeting with all the district offices of the Social Welfare Department and take feedback from them on the ongoing facilities and other schemes in the department. Officials also said that hoardings will be put up in DTC buses, Metro and other places along with advertisements through media regarding all the facilities of the Public Welfare Department to the people of Delhi.

Anand said, “We will take all necessary steps to ensure that people will not be deprived of facilities due to a lack of information about public welfare schemes run by the Delhi government. It is our endeavour that Delhiites should have maximum information about public welfare schemes so that the maximum number of people can be benefitted. For this, an awareness campaign will be conducted through magazines and other mediums.”
