‘DXR Run’: Championing the cause of peace that touched many lives

Dwarka/ Gurgaon: Running is more than a sport - it’s a way of connecting with people who are committed to positive change, both for themselves and for their communities. While political peace may remain distant, personal or local peace - the positive relationships and self-confidence that running helps develop - is achievable. This is one of the greatest advocacies ‘DXR Run’ is championing that has touched many lives.

DXR is an amalgamation of runners of different age groups from the community of Dwarka which organised a ‘Run for Peace’ on Sunday as promo run in association with Super Sikh Foundation, Gurgaon.

Aimed at creating a conducive environment for peace, the Run’s main objective is to promote health and peace. Man is losing enormously in personal life with the perpetual thoughts of achieving what he desires. He is repenting after achieving his goals by realising what he lost during the course. This is every modern man’s anguish. He is losing invaluable things like health, recreation, peace of mind and contentment. This run is a small initiative from the DXR to remind the public about the potential it has to bring people together from different backgrounds.

Beating the chilling cold on Sunday, more than hundred people from different age groups participated in the Run for Peace and brotherhood, which started from the signal near Pink Apartments, Sector 17 - popularly known in the runners’ community as DXR point.
