Dwarka: Parks of Rosewood Apartments Sector 13, DDA Flats are in bad condition. Resident Welfare Association (RWA) officials have alleged that the pathetic condition is there for a long time. To show the ‘reality’, RWA president, Prithpal Singh took CitySpidey reporter to the spot. It was found that the parks were deserted and lacking proper maintenance for a long time.
Prithpal Singh says, “There are about 20 small and big parks. Two are bigger and others are smaller but not a single is in good condition. Looking at the condition, anyone can say that for years there is no concern from the authority for their maintenance.”
He further says that the subject was taken to the then councillor of the area Nitika Sharma and now the subject has been taken to the newly elected councillor Ram Nivas Gehlot. “We are waiting for action as we got only assurance, no work on the ground,” says Prithpal.
RWA team interacted with CitySpidey and urged to highlight the issue so that authority could swung into action and the matter could be taken seriously. General secretary of RWA, Maninder Singh, says, “We are requesting MCD to do something for our parks. I think, it’s been more than 10 years and nothing has been done so far.” Gehlot said that he would take the subject into concern and do the needful.
