New Delhi: Today (January 24, 2033) around 3 pm, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 hit Nepal, causing strong tremors to be felt across Delhi and surrounding areas.

According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the epicenter of the quake was located 148 km east of Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand, Nepal.

The tremors, which lasted less than a minute, were reported by residents of Delhi-NCR on social media, who shared videos of household objects and ceiling fans shaking.

There have been no reports of damage caused by the earthquake.
