Residents of Panchsheel Greens 2 in Noida West on Tuesday reached out to the Greater Noida Authority to protest against the harassment by the builder. The residents say they believe in justice from the authority.
On Tuesday, the residents of Panchsheel Greens 2 approached the Greater Noida Authority and handed over a memorandum to the newly appointed ACEO Megha Rupam.
The residents said that they have been for years asking the developer to allow a global ISP like Airtel or Jio into society but all in vain. The developer has ignored the direction of the district magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar as well.
A complaint was also lodged with the authority for not holding elections for the basic amenities, security Guard and Condominium Owners Association of the society.
In this connection, a meeting was also held with Soumya Srivastava, OSD of the Building Authority, organised by a delegation of the residents. The residents told the official that an office-bearer of Nefowa was cautioned for protesting against the builder and also received threats from the builder. He said that the builder is related to a BJP leader, which is why the administration is not taking any action against the builder. But the residents are confident that the newly appointed authority head and the newly appointed district magistrate will ensure justice.
All the residents are of the view that the authority has called a tripartite meeting in the past, and a meeting should also be held this time to solve the problems of the residents so that the 2000 families living here can get relief.
