Residents of G. Noida’s Palm Court Housing Society hold daily protests

Greater Noida West is a city facing several problems, with the builders being the main culprits. Protests against them are a daily occurrence. On a recent Saturday, the women residing in the Palm Court Housing Society in Greater Noida West organized a unique demonstration to highlight the issue. They were protesting against the builder's decision to remove the security guards from the society.

During the protest, the women placed a picture of Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, on the security guard's chair. They declared that only his image could protect them from thieves and miscreants in the absence of security guards. Yagya Sharma, one of the residents, expressed concern over the situation, stating that there were no security guards at any of the gates, leaving the society vulnerable to anyone entering at any time. The women, including Geeta Sinha, SarikaJha, Mamta Nanda, Bhavna Arya, Bhushan, Aseem Trivedi, and Anupama Srivastava, are worried about the safety of women and children who stay at home alone.

The JKG Palm Court Housing Society in Greater Noida West witnessed a demonstration by its residents, with the women taking the lead. They held posters and placards, urging Yogi Adityanath to protect them. The women's protest serves as a reminder of the importance of security and safety measures in societies and the responsibility of builders and authorities to provide them.
