Dwarka residents learn tactics to avert cyber crimes

A cyber security awareness program was recently held at Panchsheel Apartments in Sector 10, Dwarka. The program was organized by the Cyber Cell of Delhi Police in collaboration with the All Dwarka Residents Federation (ADRF). The aim of the program was to inform and educate residents about cyber security threats and how to stay safe online.

The program was attended by residents from Panchsheel Apartments and neighboring societies, including women and senior citizens. The session was made interactive, with the speakers answering questions raised by the attendees. The speakers included Inspector Jagdish Kumar, SHO Cyber Cell, Nidhi Gupta, Vice President ADRF, and Rahul Srivastava, Incharge IT Cell ADRF.

The speakers emphasized the importance of protecting oneself from online financial fraud and provided tips on how women and senior citizens can protect themselves from being blackmailed by online fraudsters.

Subhash Goyal, the President of Panchsheel Apartments, expressed his gratitude to the Delhi Police Dwarka and ADRF team for organizing such an informative and useful program. He stated that the residents became aware of many unknown threats and that more programs like this should be organized in the future.

Overall, the program was a success, and the attendees left with a better understanding of how to protect themselves from cyber security threats.
