Noida will soon have a low-floor air-conditioned feeder bus service from Botanical Garden to Sector 62 — maybe right from this evening (January 3). The service will have stops at Sector 71 and Mamura Chowk.
According to a Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) official, eight buses have gone to the Regional Transport Office (RTO) for registration, and if the process is completed today, these will start plying from this very evening.
“Stops near the Sector 71 junction will be a big relief to residents," said Upendra Mishra, a resident of Pan Oasis, Sector 70, Noida. "Autorickshaw drivers demand too much money to go to the Botanical Garden Metro station."
There are 30 feeder buses already registered with the RTO running on various routes in Noida and Greater Noida. The NMRC official added that a route map would be put up on the back of all buses for commuter convenience.
