Greater Noida West: Hundreds of homebuyers gathered at Ekmurti in Greater Noida West for the 18th consecutive Sunday to protest against their long-standing housing issues. The homebuyers wrote their problems on postcards addressed to the Chief Minister. Those who have not received their houses even after 13 years of waiting wrote about their problems, while others who have received their houses but have not completed their registration after six years also wrote about their issues.

Abhishek Kumar, President of NEFOWA, expressed his concern that homebuyers are being crushed under the clutches of authorities and builders. He said the protest has been going on for 17 weeks, and while the CM is aware of their problems, they continue to be troubled.

Mihir Gautam, who plays a key role in the movement, expressed disappointment that even after 17 weeks of protests, the government has not taken any action to address their grievances. He questioned why they are still not getting the houses they have paid for.

The homebuyers have repeatedly written to the Chief Minister about their struggles and hope that the government will take the initiative to start stalled construction projects and complete the registration of houses.
