Greater Noida: JKG Palm Court Residents Forced to Do Cleaning, Security Jobs

Greater Noida: Residents of JKG Palm Court Society have been forced to take up cleaning and security duties for almost a month now after the developer removed all the cleaning and security staff from the society. Despite complaints made to several agencies, including the Chief Minister's office, no action has been taken against the developer at an administrative level.

Furthermore, the developer has violated the rules of the Greater Noida Authority by providing houses to residents without a certificate of occupancy. During possession, the developer demanded an advance of two years as maintenance charges from the residents but has not provided the promised facilities. Registration has also been prohibited due to the developer's failure to pay money to the authority.

Residents feel deprived as the developer charges three rupees per square foot per month for cleanliness and security, which they say they have already paid in advance. The society also has an open drain in front of it, which emanates a foul smell.

The Union Bank and Axis Bank are located inside the society but are now surrounded by piles of dirt. The developer has not been responsive to calls for assistance from any organization.

In response to this situation, residents including Mr Ramakant Rai, Virender, Abhay, Santosh Gupta, and Ripanjay Jha have taken up cleaning themselves as the developer does not allow outsiders to clean.
