Noida:The work to shift the foot-over-bridge (FOB) has finally begun, with the construction company starting to remove the accident-prone pillar near Noida Sector 52 metro station. This development will come as a relief to the people who have been traveling through this road and have been complaining to the authorities about the pillar's safety hazards.

The RWA 51 had also raised concerns about the pillar, and their persistent efforts have finally paid off. The construction company in charge of the project has assured us that they will complete the work within two months, despite the initial deadline being set at three months. They have promised to complete the work smoothly, without any objections.

Sanjeev Kumar, the senior vice president of DDRWA and general secretary of RWA Sector 51, expressed his gratitude towards the Noida Authority, DMRC, and Traffic Police Department for their commendable work. He also mentioned that traffic should not be completely blocked during the construction of the new pillar. Instead, the traffic should flow from the remaining side road, and the road should only be blocked during the demolition or removal of the old pillar.
