Dwarka:‘Save Earth’ event organised at Panchsheel Apartments Sector 10

Dwarka: To create awareness about conservation of nature a community event ‘Save Earth'  was organised at Panchsheel Apartments, Gandhi Ashram CGHS Sector 10 Dwarka. The event was organised under the aegis of Association of Neighborhood Ladies Get-together(ANHLGT) under the guidance of it’s founder president  Cicily Kodiyan. ANHLGT in collaboration with managing committee of the Society organised the programme in the society premises in which residents and kids below 15 years age participated and knew about environment and earth.

 Cicily  Kodiyan and president of the society Subhash Goyal, interacted with children and ladies on the subject covering issues of complete ban on single use plastic and to minimize use plastic which can be recycled. It was discussed that how the community could start  carrying  own cloth bags to market and use  own water bottles to avoid  single use plastic in daily life. 
On the occasion waste management was also discussed in which  segregation of wet and dry waste and how to adopt composting was highlighted. 
Children enjoyed the discussion and asked their queries as well. Certificates and medicinal  plants were distributed  to children by  Subhash Goyal.  On behalf of Society, Goyal thanked Cicily Kodiyan and all participants.
