Noida: In another gruesome incident of stray dog menace in Noida, a senior citizen was recently attacked in sector 11 and his left leg was bitten by the canine twice, leaving 10 bite marks on his foot.
The old man revealed, “The dog dug its tooth in my leg which has caused immense pain. I had gone for a walk in the morning. A light brown coloured dog grabbed my left leg from behind. I moved forward and tried to escape, but the dog again grabbed my leg. Soon, I poured water on the dog and at last it ran away. The blood kept oozing out of the leg for a long time.”

He further states that there are 35-40 dogs in Sector-11. As a result, senior citizens and children are vulnerable to such attacks.
Heeralal Gupta RWA general secretary of Noida sector 11 says " These dogs are frequently attacking people. A few days ago, a dog had also bitten the kin of a resident’s domestic help. We have requested the authority to take action on the issue but to no avail.”
