Dwarka: Upkari Apartments Sector 12 observes Earth Day with ANHLGT

Earth Day was observed at Upkari Apartments Sector 12, Dwarka recently. On the occasion, its residents organised an event at Central Park. The event was organised by the management of the society in association with ANHLGT (Association of Neighbourhood Ladies Get-together). Kids from society took interest in the activities like poetry recitation, slogans, speeches, etc at the event and expressed their views on save earth save environment.

Secretary of the society, Indrajeet Singh says, “We are happy that with association of ANHLGT and in guidance of its president Cicily Kodian we observed the day. She has been an inspiration for the community helping in understanding the importance of earth, environment, nature, etc, and especially involved with kids.”

President and founder of ANHLGT, Cicily Kodian, who has been organising such Earth Day events across the city everyday as a mission for months, interacted with kids and distributed plants to them. President of the society Baljeet Singh distributed certificates along with Cicily to kids and encouraged them.

Cicily Kodiyan says, “We need to do something everyday for mother earth to save it. Our children are the future and connecting them is important. We are doing efforts and connecting the community on the subject, especially the kids. I appeal to all the societies in Dwarka to come forward and join hands together to save earth and save environment.”
