Noida Authority gives overview of ongoing projects

Noida: Noida Authority CEO Ritu Maheshwari provided an update on various ongoing projects in Noida, covering beautification, civil and electrical engineering, sector development, RWA and AOA initiatives, parking, and PPP models for G-20.

The city is also planning to develop food zones, similar to Food Street, in Noida. To promote sports talent, a cyclothon and swimming pool have been established at Noida Stadium. Additionally, the interior of the administration office being constructed in Noida Sector-96 will be designed in a corporate culture style. The presentation for these updates is scheduled for Monday, with ACEO Satish Pal, OSD, DGM, and other officials present.

However, there has been a delay in the tendering process for the development works in a specific circle, and officials responsible for the delay should receive a warning. Also, areas, where the painting has been damaged, should be repainted. Priority should be given to flyovers, underpasses, and main roads.

Details of the progress on ponds and schools under Operation Kaya Kalp in various Noida villages should be available by May 10. Moreover, parking facilities in the Noida Sector-126 vending zone should be provided. The multi-level parking area in Noida should be kept clean, and no vehicles should be parked illegally.

Horticulture work for the under-construction golf course in Sector-151 A is set to begin in the next 10 days. The construction of the advanced subway should also be completed within the same timeframe. In consultation with the Central Road Research Institute (CRRI), a plan to complete the flyover construction at Parthala Chowk should be made to facilitate traffic on the roundabout under the flyover. Work on the G-20 beautification project should be expedited.
