The RWA of Sector 51, Noida, is worried about commercial activities being carried out inside the sector.
"I am strictly against any commercial activity in the sector," said Harinder Singh, a resident. "There is a banquet hall near my house in Block H. I find it tough to park or take out my car, as guests to the banquet hall park right in front of my house all the time."
RWA members are also unhappy about paying guest accommodations in the sector. They claim tenants are up till the wee hours, playing loud music and even consuming liquor in the parks or on the roads.
Sanjeev Kumar, general secretary of the RWA, told City Spidey that they had written several letters to the higher officials of Noida Authority, complaining about the problem. "The Deputy CEO of Noida Authority visited the sector last month," said Kumar. "The RWA had demanded immediate action on any type of commercial activity within the sector."
Saumya Srivastava, Deputy CEO of Noida Authority, said he had received numerous complaints about this. "I have asked the RWA to identify the areas in which commercial activity is being carried out," he said.
Sanjeev Kumar said the RWA was in the process of identifying all such spots, and will submit a list to Srivastava by next week.
