Prateek Laurel’s sports festival concludes

Residents of Prateel Laurel, a residential society in Sector 120, Noida, organised an award ceremony on January 15 for the winners of the annual sports festival held in the society.

Uday Jain, secretary of the society’s AOA, honoured the winners with gold, silver and bronze medals in various categories for games such as badminton, lawn tennis, carrom, chess and volleyball.

Residents Rishabh Shankar, Deep Bose, Ajay Mathur, Mohak Mathur, VP Singh, Amit Kumar, Pratush, Rohit, Arnav Pandey, Amit Kumar, Aman Grover, Navpuneet Singh, Shivanshu Gupta, AK Gupta, Siddharth Dileep, Harsh Verma, Shardul, Ayan Borbora and Path Chandak received gold medals.

Hardik Pande, Naveen Pant, Peeyush Chaturvedi, Manjeet Singh, AK Gupta, Karan Singh, Ajay, Kapil, Vihan Agarwal, Sargun Kaur, Amit Dad, Navpuneet Singh, Vikas Sinha, Rahul Pandey, VK Mangalik, Aarush Kalra and Aviral were given silver medals for bagging silver medals.

Shivanshi Sinha, a resident, was given a bronze medal for securing the third position in lawn tennis in Category 8, meant for those under 8 years of age. 

The sports festival, an annual event organised by and for residents of Prateek Laurel, began in the last week of December. Residents participated in three categories — under 8 years of age, under 14 years of age, and 14 years of age and above.
