RWA Federation Gzb campaigns for high voter turnout at state assembly elections

RWA Federation Ghaziabad has rolled up its sleeves to ensure a major voter turnout at the upcoming state assembly elections. On January 17, members of the federation met labourers and street vendors to spread awareness about the importance of voting and to encourage them to cast their votes.

Members at the awareness drives held placards and shouted slogans to convey the importance of voting. The first drive was carried out at the Labour Adda at Ramte Ram Road in Ghaziabad, while the second drive was organised at Bhima Bai Park in Vijay Nagar.

The members encouraged the participants to unite and put forward their demands to the authorities. Colonel TP Tyagi, chairman of the RWA federation, said the drives were being conducted so the underprivileged exercised their right to vote. "A high voter turnout will ensure a democratically elected government," said Tyagi.
