Parents of Gazal Yadav, who died after sustaining head injuries during a karate practise session in the school, have now decided to take their complain to Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav.
Ghazal, a class II student of DPS World School in Greater Noida, died on January 31.
Lal Chand Yadav, the father, told City Spidey that the police have been lax in their investigations so far. He added, “It has been six days since my daughter died, but not a single arrest has been made till now.”
The school has provided the CCTV footage of the practice to the police, and forensic samples collected by the investigating team on February 3 have been sent to Agra.
Awdhesh Awasthi, SHO of the Eco Tech III police station, said, “We are waiting for the forensic report to come in.”
