Senior town planner and HUDA set up camp to resolve Ardee City issues

Residents of Ardee City in Sector 52, Gurgaon, heaved a sigh of relief on February 7, when the senior town planner, along with Haryana Urban Development Authority's engineering wing, organised a camp to discuss their problems. Officers assured residents that their long-pending problems would be sorted out on priority.

Authorities had received six applications from residents for occupancy certificates, of which three were cleared on the spot.

The camp was a first of its kind in the society. Residents had earlier met local MLA Umesh Aggarwal to discuss their problems and Aggarwal had directed officials to take action.

Camp coordinator Praveen Yadav said, “Such camps are helpful to residents. They don’t have to go to government offices to get their work done. It was a great initiative by HUDA and the senior town planner. Other departments should come forward and organise such camps too. Our camp was a huge success with residents. We had received 245 applications and most of them were related to occupancy certificate from the builder.”

Anurag Kumar Gupta, a resident of the society, said, “This was a great initiative. It felt good to know that they cared enough to listen to our problems and initiate such a camp."
