Shaheed Smarak, the tri-service memorial in Sector 29, Noida, is all set to celebrate its 16th Annual Day on February 18.
The main attraction at the event is pegged to be the impressive ceremonial guard of honour and military band. The event is going to be presided over by the Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba, PVSM, AVSM, ADC, and his wife, Reena Lanba, who’s also the president of the Navy Wives Welfare Association.
Last year about 500 people, including dignitaries, senior veterans, family members of martyrs and defence personnel, officials and students of schools attended the function.
So if any of you Noida residents want to shake hands with the naval chief, be at Shaheed Smarak sharp at 9:30 am.
