Several sectors in Gurgaon will not receive water for 24 hours from February 3, 8 am, to February 4. This is due to the upgradation of the Sector 51 boosting station.

More than 3 lakh people living in sectors 42 to 67, DLF, and several societies along Sohna Road and SPR road, receive water from this boosting station. Every year, these residents face an acute shortage of water during the summer months.

"Once the boosting station is upgraded, residents will no longer have to face water shortage," said HUDA executive engineer Bhoop Singh. "We have advised all residents to store as much water as possible during the 24-hour period."

HUDA SDO Vijendra Malik said, “All the faulty pipelines of the boosting station will be repaired. The Chandu-Budhera water treatment plant will also be closed during that period, so the master pipelines can be repaired.”
