Jaipuria Sunrise Greens, I’puram: Society magazine launched

AOA of Jaipuria Sunrise Greens, a residential society in Ahinsa Khand I, Indirapuram, launched its society magazine on March 5. The inaugural issue of Sunrise Buzz — as the magazine is calledcentres around the history of the society since 2008, when people began living there.

The magazine would help new residents to know more about the society’s past, feel AOA members. There would be other sections as well — one on Sunrise professionals, the society’s who's who. Another section, called Sunrise talents, would be dedicated to younger residents, who have done well in academics and education. The magazine will feature articles by the residents, besides write-ups from famous personalities of the city.

Speaking to City Spidey, Shripal Singh, AOA general secretary, and the chief editor of the magazine, said, “The AOA has decided to publish the society magazine to increase interaction among the residents.”

NK Singh, a senior TV journalist, and a resident of Indirapuram — who was also the chief guest at the magazine launch — lauded the AOA’s efforts and said that such a magazine would help build “collective consciousness” among the residents.

Alok Kumar, patron of FedAOA, who was also present at the launch, said, “In today’s world, the residents do not know each other and are confined to their lives in their flats. This magazine will help the residents to get to know each other.”

Ravindra Saini, AOA president, said, “The magazine would be available to all free of cost, and would be published quarterly.”
