Residents of sectors 74, 75, 77 and 78 of Noida have joined hands to give support to about 60 families of the slum that was affected by a massive fire that broke out last night.  

Along with residents, Pankaj Singh, the newly elected MLA of Noida, also visited the place and distributed clothes and food to the slum dwellers. 

Dhananjay Singh, a resident of Ajnara Grand Heritage in Sector 74, told City Spidey that his friends from neighbouring societies had also visited the slum. "We were accompanied by a team of doctors who provided first aid to all those affected by the fire," said Singh. "Luckily, none of them were harmed."

Shailendra Baranwal, a resident of Supertech Capetown in Sector 74, Noida, said several residents reached the spot this morning and distributed warm milk, snacks and clothes to the slum dwellers. 

Rajesh Kumar Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), who also visited the spot this morning, said Rs 7,900 will be given to each family as aid.
