Residents register complain with Noida Authority and say the shop is an encroachment on disputed land.
Generator sets kept at the repair shop
Residents of Sector 51, Noida, have registered a complaint with Deepak Agarwal, CEO of Noida Authority, against an "illegal" repair shop of generator sets near Block F in the sector.
In the complaint, Sanjeev Kumar, secretary of the RWA that caters to blocks C, D, E and F, drew the CEO’s attention towards the encroachment of a vacant disputed piece of land. The complainant informed him that there was a status quo order by the Allahabad High Court on the land but an "illegal" shop for repairing generator sets was being run on the land.
Kumar told City Spidey, “I have demanded that the officer concerned be instructed to clear the encroachment from the land. It has become a nuisance to the residents of the sector. The generator sets make a lot of noise when they are being repaired.”
Agarwal assured Kumar that he would direct his officers to take appropriate action.
