Homebuyers alleged the builder had stopped construction work for the past two years without any justifiable reason.
Buyers of Amrapali Crystal Homes, a residential project in Sector 76, Noida, held a protest against the builder at the project site on April 2.
The buyers alleged that the builder had stopped construction work for the past two years without any justifiable reason. They also demanded an exact date of possession, failing which they would want their money refunded.
The homebuyers said they had booked flats in 2012, and given 70 per cent of the price already.
Pranay Sinha, a buyer, told City Spidey, “The officials of Amrapali Crystal Homes are not ready to meet us. We are fed up of waiting; if the builder doesn't start construction of all the seven towers, we will initiate legal action against it.”
The officials of the builder were not available for comment.
