There’s good news for residents living near Gate No 7 of DLF Phase I, Gurgaon. The builder is ready to remove commercial set-ups outside the gate and residents will no longer need to drive on the wrong side till Bristol chowk.
The residents had complained to Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) about encroachments outside the gate, forcing the builder to act. They alleged that the builder had also illegally carved out parking space in the service lane for a commercial complex near the gate.
Residents claimed the builder was in cahoots with the owner of the commercial complex, as he was supposedly the relative of a politician.
RWA president of DLF Qutub Enclave, RS Rathee, told City Spidey, “The developer is now ready to remove encroachments from outside Gate No 7. He will also deal with the problem of unauthorised parking on the service lane.”
Sandeep Virmani, a resident, said, “The builder going after unauthorised parking is good news! We were being forced to drive on the wrong side while going towards MG Road, Golf Course Road and Cyber City.”TAGS: DLF Phase I / Gurgaon / Encroachments / Residents / Coloniser / Builder / Bristol Chowk
