Noida: Third meeting between parents and Cambridge School inconclusive

The third meeting between members of Cambridge School Parents’ Association (CSPA), Noida, and the school authorities on April 7 regarding fee hike remained inconclusive.

Despite a long discussion, no solution seemed at hand. Hours later, fuming members of the parents' association were seen coming out of the school.

K Arunchalam, CSPA general secretary, told City Spidey, “We did not get our answers. The school authorities have again asked for three days’ time, after which another meeting is to be held. The last date for depositing the fee is April 20. If the school authorities continue to waste time like this, the problem will never be solved.”

He added, "If things are not resolved soon, parents will again stage a protest in front of the school. We will also march to the DM’s office from the school.”

When City Spidey contacted Mahuya Mandal, principal of Cambridge School, Noida, she declined to speak.

Parents of students studying in Cambridge School, Noida, are on a war path after the quarterly fee was hiked from Rs 20,000 to Rs 35,000 for this academic year. This 75 per cent hike, they add, is uncalled for and has been done without taking the parents into confidence.
