The women’s wing of Amrapali Heart Beat City buyers’ welfare association staged a protest over delay in completion of Amrapali Heart Beat City, an under construction residential project, on April 8. The protest was held at the construction site in Sector 107, Noida.

Around 25 women along with some teenagers assembled at the site and demanded that the builder restart the construction work on the site.

Despite legal issues over land acquisition having been amicably solved months ago, the builder hasn’t resumed the remaining development work.

The buyers also met Pankaj Singh, Noida MLA, at his office in Sector 19 with their grievances and urged him to look into their issues.

Arun Kalra, president of the association, told City Spidey that the association members apprised the MLA of the issues. He said, “Singh assured them of time for another meeting on April 16 in which the developer will also be present.”

According to the association, Singh has asked buyers to submit their grievances in writing to him and he would take up the issue with UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
