Gurgaon: Cardio and pain management camp for sectors 86, 90 and 91

The condominium association of DLF New Town Heights, Sector 86, Gurgaon, organised a free cardio and pain management camp on April 9 for sectors 86, 90 and 91. The one-day camp was held on the premises of the condominium in collaboration with Gurgaon’s Artemis Hospital.

The camp offered free diagnostics, such as ECG, lipid profile, blood pressure, blood sugar and BMI.

More than 80 residents participated in the camp, conducted under the guidance of doctors from Artemis Hospital — Dr (Col) Monik Mehta, senior consultant cardiologist, and Dr Ashu Kumar Jain, head, pain medicine and palliative care.

"It is important to maintain good health, despite a hectic schedule. These camps are important, since they keep us updated about our health and allow us to adopt a healthy lifestyle, with help from medical experts,” said Deepak Aggarwal, a resident of DLF Gardencity.

“The camp was a great help for people with cardiac problems and various types of aches. Such camps are important in educating us about various ailments and their timely prevention,” said Saurabh Bhutani, another resident.

“The initiative was part of our efforts to keep residents of DLF Gardencity fit and healthy. I would like to thank Artemis Hospital and its team for support,” said Brig (Retd) AD Kaushal, president of DLF New Town Heights condominium association.
