Noida Authority meets Amrapali Zodiac residents and homebuyers

Noida Authority officials on April 10 called a meeting to discuss the issues being faced by homebuyers and residents of Amrapali Zodiac in Sector 120, Noida. The meeting was held at the administrative office of the Authority. Representatives of the builder were also present at the meeting.

The meeting was led by Shishir Singh, ACEO of Noida Authority. Common issues such as electricity, water, possession of flats and pending works were discussed at the meeting.

Residents of Amrapali Zodiac complained that despite the society being occupied for more than two years, the builder had failed to provide them with basic amenities. The builder was also supposed to complete the entire project by last year but was unable to adhere to the timelines. Residents said the meeting was positive and they were now hopeful the Authority would help solve their issues.

Gaurav Mathur, another resident of the society, told City Spidey that the Authority did take a while to arrange the meeting but they were happy that it took an interest in their problems.

Pramod Kumar, who owns a flat in Amrapali Zodiac, said the builder was yet to pay Rs 200 crore to the Authority, after which it would allow the registry of flats.

Manwendra Choubey, another resident, told City Spidey that the Authority officials would visit the project this week and ask the builder's representative to submit a tower-wise report of the remaining work by April 15.
