The Authority found some construction work in Amrapali Zodiac, Sector 120, illegal. The move came after tri-party meetings between homebuyers, builders and the Authority.
Noida Authority issued a notice to Amrapali Group regarding illegal construction in Amrapali Zodiac, a residential project in Sector 120, Noida, on April 13.
Shishir Singh, ACEO of Noida Authority, told City Spidey, “The Authority found several construction works by the builder in Amrapali Zodiac illegal. The Authority has given the builder seven days to remove them otherwise it will demolish the illegal construction work.”
The move has come as a result of a tri-party meetings between the homebuyers, builders and Noida Authority officials. On April 10, one such meeting was held at Noida Authority’s office. Buyers had complained to the Authority about the illegal construction work being carried out by the builder.
Noida Authority officials visited the site on April 12 and found illegal construction of commercial establishments in the area that was approved as green area of the society.
Manawendra Choubey, a resident of the society, told City Spidey, “The builder was constructing 14 shops and 5 kiosks in the green area, which was not in accordance with the master plan passed by Noida Authority.”
Buyers and residents of the society celebrated the move as one of their biggest victories against the builder. They told City Spidey that they are seeing positive changes in the behaviour of Noida Authority’s employees after the new government came to power in the state.
