A 60-year-old just got thrashed by three PG girls in Sector 50, Noida!

A 60-year-old senior citizen was allegedly beaten up by three young women living as paying guests in Sector 50, Noida. According to the victim Ravinder Iyer, the incident took place on the morning of April 13, when he requested the girls not to quarrel outside the house. The paying guest (PG) accommodation is located in front of Iyer's house.

According to police officials, the three accused, later identified as Anu Chaudhary, Manu Chaudhary and Komal Chaudhary, all sisters, were in an inebriated state when the incident took place.

Talking to City Spidey, Iyer said, “On Thursday morning, around 5 am, I heard some noise and came out of my house to see the girls squabbling among themselves. I tried to intervene, but instead, the trio started misbehaving with me and started hitting me."

Later, Iyer lodged an FIR with the Sector 49 police station. He has also written to representatives of the RWA and to Noida Authority officials, requesting them to crack down on the illegal PG accommodations in the sector.

Iyer further said that when he called the police, about 40 police constables, including women cops, reached the spot. He said the girls also misbehaved with the police.

RWA members were also unhappy about the many PGs mushrooming in the sector. They said that those living in PGs were up until the wee hours, often playing music and consuming liquor in the open.

Vimal Sharma, RWA president of Sector 50, said the RWA had written several letters to the Authority about this but no action had been taken. "On April 18, some of the RWA members are going to meet Noida Authority officials about the problem," he added.

Vijender Bhadana, SO of the Sector 49 police station, said the medical tests confirmed that the girls were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. They were detained at the station before being given bail.
