Is the committee appointed to look into school-fee hike doing its job?

"There are more than 100 schools affiliated to CBSE alone. How will they be able to cover all schools in the next 3 days?” asked an angry parent.

Is the committee appointed to look into school-fee hike doing its job?
The committee formed by the District Magistrate of Gautam Budh Nagar to look into the arbitrary school-fee hike issue has only been able to visit two schools in the past four days.

There is a palpable resentment among the parents who have been protesting against the fee hike. According to the parents, the committee was to speak to the authorities of DPS and Cambridge schools on April 17 but failed to do so. They said the committee was also supposed to investigate three schools per day but they had failed to meet even a day's Target in it's first four days.

The committee officials attributed the slow progress to the school vacations in UP. Parents, however, said all private schools in the district were open on April 17 but the committee did not carry out a single inspection. "Just two schools in the past four days," said one of the angry parents. "This shows how serious the committee is. There are more than 100 schools affiliated to CBSE alone. How will they be able to cover all schools in the next 3 days?”

When City Spidey asked the committee members about investigating schools on April 17, they said their department was on leave.

According to the parents, the committee already has enough evidence against the private schools.

Bheem Singh, DIOS told City Spidey that the committee could not visit any school on April 17, as Ramanuj Singh, the city magistrate leading the three-member group, was on leave. "The investigation will begin on April 18. DPS and Cambridge will also submit their report on that day," added Singh.
