Fist fight with resident lands builder’s men in trouble

Beating a resident of Supertech Capetown, a residential society in Sector 74, Noida, has got four men working for the society’s builder in trouble.

On April 21, 34-year-old Pavi Vatra, a software engineer who owns a flat in tower CS-1, had gone to the society’s maintenance office to lodge a complaint over lack of water supply in his flat with the manager.

Both of them got into an altercation that soon escalated into a fight. Four staff members, including bouncers deployed in the society, beat up Vatra. He suffered a minor injury on his left shoulder, his T-shirt was torn and he was dragged on the floor of the maintenance office.

Vatra immediately informed the police, which reached the spot within 20 to 25 minutes. As the news of the incident spread in the society, residents became upset. On April 22, they gathered in the society to protest against the incident.

They registered a police complaint at the Sector 49 police station against the builder’s men. The police registered an FIR against four men, namely Sanjay, Kamleshwar, Jitendra and Anjani.

Bijendra Singh Bhadana, station officer, Sector 49 police station, told City Spidey, “An FIR has been registered against four men under IPC sections 147, 323, 540, and 506, for beating, causing hurt and attempting to murder.”
