HUDA instructs builders to provide better connectivity for sectors 70 to 80

The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has instructed builders DLF, BPTP and Supertech to start constructing roads for better connectivity of their forthcoming residential projects in sectors 70-80, Gurgaon, to the other arterial roads.

Homebuyers have been long complaining of the poor road network in the developing sectors.

“I am pleased to inform the builders to construct proper approach roads for the societies being developed," said Yashpal Yadav, Huda administrator. "The network of roads will also connect Vatika Chowk on Southern Periphiral Road (SPR) and Rambir Ki Dhani in Sector 69/70 to NH 8 after the Kherki Daula toll, thereby helping residents of the newly developed areas to commute,” said Yashpal Yadav, Huda administrator.

Yadav added, “The homebuyers who have their flats and plots in these sectors would find it opportune, as long time grievances of approach roads would be attended to. It will also make things convenient for commuters in many ways.”

To avoid the Kherki Dhaula toll, commuters from Sohna Road and Manesar can take this route. It will also ease traffic congestion on NH8.

It is worth noting that homebuyers have been crying foul in nonexistence of approach road blocking possessions of plots and flats.

“Due to the poor roads in the new projects, buyers are not willing to move in despite their flats being ready. If the roads outside our new home is ready, we would happily shift and start living there,” said Rakesh Sharma, a homebuyer.

A BPTP spokesperson said, “We welcome the government's decision and hope it would add value to the societies and make them inhabitable."
