To encourage women entrepreneurs, Reciprocity, a business networking forum in Gurgaon, organised an event called ASPIRE at the Fortune Select Global hotel, MG Road, on April 27.
The event was a curtain-raiser to a six-month entrepreneurship programme by Manish Puri and Kanchan S Satpathy, the founders of Reciprocity. Women entrepreneurs from diverse fields, such as event management, architecture, interior and fashion design, attended the event.
It was an enlightening 90-minute programme where women entrepreneurs spoke about their personal experiences and what it takes to become successful.
Satpathy, who is an architect and a lawyer, said, “You will do what you think you will do. At Aspire, we empower your thinking.”
Puri, a Gallup-certified career coach, interacted with the audience and spoke about how they could improve their strengths and business techniques. He said, “The specific areas of coaching would be leadership, attitude, behaviour, communication, culture, process, strategy, innovation, sales and business development.”
Mukta Chopra, a resident of Sector 43, “I am planning to start my own venture and proper guidance is a key factor that will make it work. This forum gave me deep insight into so many areas of business that one doesn’t always consider.”
