The Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon continued with its drive on April 27 to seal properties in the four zones in the city where the property tax was not paid.
The teams sealed about 15 industrial properties in Daulatabad and Pace City. The drive also covered the Sector 14 market.
V Umashankar, MCG commissioner, said, “We have given enough time to the defaulters to submit their taxes. But now, the only action left is sealing the properties of the defaulters. As we are providing all avenues for payment, there should be no problems in clearing the bills.”
The corporation has made provisions for payment even on Saturdays and Sundays. The municipal offices would be open on these days for the payment. The authority has also provided online payment options.
With just three days remaining for the waiver on interest on tax payment and a 25 per cent discount on the original amount, this is a final chance for property owners to pay the tax.
