Gurgaon-based The Earth Saviours Foundation organised a campaign to stress on the harmful effects of unnecessary honking. In fact, the NGO will submit a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asking him to bring out strict laws against honking. They are also demanding a change in the 'No Honking' symbol.

Additional chief secretary to Haryana government, Sunil Gulati; deputy commissioner Hardeep Singh; National Security Guard director Sudhir Pratap Singh and several other senior officials were present during the campaign.

There were volunteers from across the city. In fact, one participant from Meerut, Dharmpal Singh, was 119 years old!
