Enforcement teams of the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) removed encroachments from Golf Course Extension Road, and roads connecting Rajiv Chowk to Badshahpur Chowk.
The road leading to The Westin Gurgaon from the Golf Course Extension Road was also cleared.
The teams removed all temporary structures and warned roadside vendors — such coconut sellers and juice sellers — and dhabas to not start their business on the footpaths again.
MCG spokesperson SS Rohilla said, “The encroachers will face legal action if they don't pay heed to our words.”
MCG commissioner V Umashankar had formed four crack teams with designated areas on May 1.
