The Gautam Budh Nagar district administration has asked parents to submit their complaints against arbitrary fee hikes in Noida's private schools within the next three days. The administration has ordered the schools to respond to all allegations made by parents in a week's time.

The decision was taken at a meeting held on the evening of May 2 by the newly appointed district magistrate BN Singh, who met parents and school representatives of Gautam Budh Nagar over the issue of fee hike.

BN Singh told City Spidey that after listening to the complaints of parents, it was decided that the parents would register their complaints with the District Inspector Of Schools (DIOS). "The complaints should be regarding fee hike and non-compliance of guidelines set by the CBSE and the state government,” added Singh.

Singh further said that after all the complaints had been received, they would be compiled and sent to various schools, seeking their replies.

“The school bodies will have to respond to the allegations within seven days by submitting a report to the DIOS. This report must contain facts and figures validating the claims made by the school management against the complaints put forward by parents,” said Singh.
